Alcohol and Drugs Policy

Marymantes Group is committed to maintaining a healthy and safe working environment for all employees.

Alcohol and drug consumption produces effects on the body that cause impairment of physical and mental abilities, greatly affecting worker safety, efficiency, and productivity. In our company, tolerance towards alcohol and drugs is zero, in order to fulfill the commitment we have, we establish the following mandatory policy for all workers.
  • The illicit use of legal drugs or the use, possession, distribution, and sale of illegal drugs by employees and contractors on company premises or in the conduct of their business is strictly prohibited.
  • The sale or possession of alcohol by employees or subcontractors is not allowed on company premises or at work sites.
  • When required by management and permitted by country legislation, alcohol and drug tests will be required as a condition for employment.
  • Random alcohol and drug tests will be conducted during working hours. Every worker will be subjected to these tests, with greater emphasis on employees in high-risk positions.
  • Alcohol and drug tests may be conducted at the request of line supervisors to employees and subcontractors (provided that legislation permits it).
  • It is the responsibility of each employee to ensure that while on duty they are not under the influence of alcohol (zero alcohol), drugs, or any medicine that may negatively influence their behavior.
  • If found under the influence of alcohol or drugs, any employee will be immediately relieved of their duties and their employment contract terminated.
